Sai Baba of Shirdi descended on the earth to
lead mankind to the realm of eternity. Sai
Baba, a personification of spiritual
perfection and an epitome of compassion ,
lived in the little village of Shirdi in the
state of Maharashtra (India) for sixty
years. Like most of the perfect saints he
left no authentic record of his birth and
early life before arriving at Shirdi.
Shri Shirdi Sai Baba would remain as a
manifested Param Sadguru, the Supreme Master
for the seven centuries. The Sadgurus,
transcending all the confines of caste, sect
and colour, remain engaged in the spiritual
uplift of the humanity and operate in both
physical and metaphysical plane. Even
animals, birds and other living creatures
are treated compassionately by them. The
life-style of Sai Baba, his routine
functioning etc. reflected that his
compassion lay in abundance for the
redemption of the people. Baba played a
role, both at micro and a macro levels.
At the micro-level, species, who are drawn
to Him by His mighty Will like chained

macro-level, Baba once commented that during
1854 and 1858, he was busy with Rani
Laxmibai of Jhansi, thereby, indicating his
role in the transitional phase of Indian
As the divine mother Baba gave his immense
love and as the divine father He gave
direction to our search for truth. He stands
there eternally to help out and give solace
to His children who are bruised with the
miseries of this world through the passage
of centuries. Thus His sacred mission is to
awaken, elevate, transform and comfort His
children and to make His children conscious
of their divine nature. The people who
follow His teachings and preaching are
indeed blessed souls.

Supreme Perfect Master is God, is in God and
will always remain as God.
He had embodied Himself by the love aspect
of God for the suffering lot and that His
kindness is unfathomable.
His job is to carry out the functions of God
– creation, sustenance and destruction, and
to lead souls in their spiritual journey
After leaving the body He is there in His
God State, as a Cosmic reality.
He is looking after His devotees and
children as much today as he used to when he
was at Shirdi.
His devotees may go on taking birth life
after life, but Shri Sai will be there
always to help and guide them towards
happiness and spiritual evolution.
We must, therefore, make Him our mainstay of
life and pray to Him with all our heart and
